So do Americans "really" not understand Cheryl X Factor Cole?

To think that this show, her going to the US was billed as "Her Moment" for the US public to be charmed like here in the UK, what now for "Chezza", back to the UK, to once more be on the English X Factor? am quite impartial to her in general,yes she is very pretty, has a doe like expression/vibe, was/is in Girls Aloud (some quite catchy dance tunes actually) am just curious because she has been hyped up beyond belief regarding her US role.......what now?
