Do TV sports commentators talk too much during a football game?
When the ball is in play, the last thing that i want to hear is two guys chatting away and spoiling the enjoyment of the football match. By chatting, I mean talking almost like if it were you and I having a drink and watching the game, instead of "professional commentary." I want to know who has the ball and maintain the energy and excitement of the match. What's your view? Should they stop chatting when the ball is in play? Should commentators be completely impartial and keep their private opinions to themselves? This means that they can only refer to actual facts and figures when commentating. What do you think is best?
