I want to get different opinions on whether people think that television news is impartial?

They are biased towards making money, period. TV news is a major money maker for networks, which was not intended to be the case. As such, they will do whatever is best to maintain their profits. The thought that the media is liberal is a wonderful fabrication to protect the real mainstream/conservative/status quo bias.
